EDU 717 - Student Affairs Administration 3 credit hours This course is designed to provide an introduction to student affairs work in the college and university setting through a review of its historical context; philosophical and practical bases; organization and administration; specific programs; roles and responsibilities; contemporary issues and trends; and implications for student affairs professionals. Characteristics and attitudes of contemporary "traditional" and "non-traditional" students and how those are influenced by the various higher education environments are examined.
