RMI 515 - Insurance Business Law and Ethics 3 credit hours This course teaches the application of relevant contract, commercial, property, tort, and agency laws to the insurance and risk management industry. Laws related to business entities and employment are also covered. Students learn about the basics of the international legal environment. Insurance-based case studies are used to outline a positive ethical framework for insurance professionals. The material covered in this course prepares students for the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) exam associated with the CPCU 530 and Ethics 312 courses.
