EDU 428 - Education Governance, History, and Philosophy

3 credits
The course provides the student with the knowledge of the organization of the education system and its impact on curriculum, its historical antecedents and influence on democratic values, and the major philosophies and their impact on educational decisions. Finance issues, current issues/trends in structures and policies, and legal rights and responsibilities of students and teachers, including ethical responsibilities, are also included.
