MSE-AFR 4201 - National Security Affairs & Preparation for Active Duty Part 1 3 credits Corequisite(s): MSE-AFR 2000 , MSE-AFR 2001 A study of the Armed Forces as an integrated element of society, with an emphasis on American civil-military relations and context in which U.S. defense policy is formulated and implemented. Special themes include: social attitudes towards the military and the role of the professional military leader-manager in a democratic society.
