CRM 370 - Juvenile Justice 3 credits Prerequisite(s): POL 123 and CRM 220 This course addresses the problem of juvenile crime and justice in the United States. Topics covered include the nature and extent of the delinquency problem; the measurement of official delinquency; unofficial accounts of delinquency; the role of the family, schools, and peers; an overview of the juvenile justice process including law enforcement, courts, and corrections; and efforts towards delinquency prevention and prediction.
