RAI 320 - Introduction to Mechatronics

3 credits
Prerequisite(s): COM 207 , RAI 201 , and RAI 210  
Mechatronics is the synergistic integration of sensors, actuators, signal conditioning, power electronics, decision and control algorithms, and computer hardware and software to manage robotic control systems. This course introduces students to basic mechatronics system components, and the design principles of using mechatronics to meet functionality requirements of robot systems.
