REL 115 - UE: Is God Silent? How to Read Scriptures to Build a Life of Love

3 credits
This course explores the Bible as an incredible dialogue between God and humanity. The course engages the idea that the Bible is God's dialogue with us, and it explores the challenge of interpreting the meaning of this dialogue for living a life of love today. Students will discover not only the history of the biblical narratives but also how these extremely influential stories relate to the larger story of the person of Jesus Christ. Finally, these stories will be shown as central to Jesus' challenge that we love God and love our neighbors as ourselves.
