ECO 301 - Intermediate Macroeconomics 3 credits Prerequisite(s): ECO 202 and MAT 201 with a grade of C or better The objective of this course is to provide the students an application-based foundation of macroeconomic theory and policy necessary for advanced study in economics. This course will analyze macroeconomic data to understand the current macroeconomic performance and compare the current and past economic performances in the United States. At the end of the semester, students will demonstrate knowledge of various macroeconomic theories, economic policies and have a strong empirical foundation to analyze and utilize macroeconomic data to explain economic performance.
