ACC 535 - Forensic Accounting 3 credit hours Prerequisites: Undergraduate classes in Auditing and Intermediate Accounting II
and ACC 505 This course focuses on methods, techniques, strategies, and thinking processes utilized in forensic accounting. It also addresses professional standards of practice, ethics, and law applicable to subfields in forensic accounting. Students will be introduced to the forensic accounting profession, which includes the areas of bankruptcy, digital forensics, fraud, financial statement misrepresentations, economic damages, and associated legal issues.
