Medical Humanities Minor

The Medical Humanities Minor is designed to provide students with a foundational understanding of the interdisciplinary field of Medical Humanities in support of related majors such as Biology, Sociology, or other health-related areas of study.

Requirements

MHU 201 - Foundations of Medical Humanities 3 credits
PHI 324 - Bioethics 3 credits
Take 9 credits from the following choices:
IDS 315 - Medicine and Embodiment 3 credits
IDS 425 - Internship in Interdisciplinary Studies 3-6 credits
MHU 339 - Selected Topics in Medical Humanities 3 credits
SOC 334 - Sex and Gender 3 credits
SOC 348 - Medical Sociology 3 credits
