Music Education Minor

Saint Leo University offers a minor in education for students majoring in music, who want to deepen their knowledge of music and would like experience working with children. Through the program, you will prepare to become a musician in a variety of settings including church, community, music industry, and schools. It is also ideal for students who plan to pursue graduate music careers and are looking for a strong foundation in music and educational pedagogy.  It is a 20-21 credit hour minor with an optional second practicum and an optional extra semester for a full-time internship teaching experience.
