EDU 465 - Instructional Strategies for Teaching Diverse and Exceptional Learners

3 credits
Prerequisite(s): EDU 352  
This course presents the practical application of K-12 instructional strategies for working with students identified as exceptional learners.  Students will learn to apply accommodations as identified in K-12 student IEPs, differentiate instruction for K-12 students with specific learning disabilities / disorder and monitor student progress during interventions.  Furthermore, students will retrieve RtI data and use it to develop interventions for student success.
