Florida Coaching

Saint Leo University offers students coursework leading to the opportunity to obtain an athletic coaching certificate from the State of Florida Department of Education endorsement in athletic coaching. The courses are available for all students. However, they may be of special interest to all majors seeking teaching certification. Students may increase their marketability by adding this specialized certificate to their teaching certificate. The following courses are needed to satisfy Florida Department of Education requirements for a coaching certificate:

In addition to the above, PED 230 - Community Health Education and First Aid/CPR/AED  is strongly recommended for those students interested in pursuing coaching careers.
